TJ is an executive leader with passion and drive to develop strategies for diverse organizations to deliver results.  He’s developed a versatile skillset established over his two decades of experience throughout commercial real estate development and separately in manufacturing/processing & logistics operations within the oil and gas industry.   This diversified experience was first developed during the early portion of his career in commercial leasing, management, investment analysis, property acquisition/dispositions, and construction/development in commercial real estate for Preferred Real Estate Investments in Conshohocken, PA.  While, the later portion of his career has been centered around full P&L experience leading international, multi-service, multi-site organizations ranging from $20M to $500M in revenues, developing and growing businesses while building productive working relationships with clients and internal teams.  He has a successful history of driving profitability improvements and cost savings through detailed analysis of financial and non-financial information, streamlining and enhancing financial performance and partnering with business management to drive businesses forward.

In only a decade’s time, Austin has successfully executed projects on nearly all core and niche real estate asset classes regionally and nationally. He is an expert on navigating complex transactions, allowing him to become a go to problem solver for owners and tenants.

His team’s persistent and thorough approach has allowed them to  execute on projects others deemed unsalvageable through a comprehensive property evaluation and marketing implementation program that allows clients to not only transact on their projects, but to also to obtain the most favorable outcome. These projects have  executed north of $150M in transactional volume.

With expertise from both a principal developer and third-party advisory role, Austin’s  unique background includes transactions/developments in assets including but not limited to industrial, automotive, office, energy, multi-family, retail, specialty uses, and low income housing.

Mike’s background in real estate and the law uniquely positions him to provide clients with solutions satisfying the full spectrum of commercial real estate needs across asset classes. His specific experience includes negotiating and closing deals in medical, industrial, office, land, multi-family, and retail settings – totaling over $300 million in transaction volume.

Prior to joining Hunter Durant, Mike was leader of an outsourced real estate team for a seven (7) hospital health system. Role highlights included:

  • Transactional management across the health system’s real estate portfolio including leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and ground up development/build to suit projects;
  • Development and implementation of real estate strategy in support of operations – including site identification, portfolio optimization, expansion, and management of ambulatory primary and specialty care sites, acute, emergent, diagnostic, and education health care locations;
  • Working directly with senior leadership (including C-suite) across all service lines, construction and facilities management, emergent/urgent care leadership, ancillary services leadership, hospital leadership, in-house counsel, physicians, and support staff on real estate initiatives;
  • Asset management of numerous medical office buildings – both on and off the acute care campus;
  • Assembled and lead professional teams with legal, engineering, architectural/design, construction, property management, and development expertise to implement the health system’s goals; and
  • Performed complex legal, financial, regulatory, entitlement, and market analysis in support of the above.

Before his most recent role, Mike spent years practicing healthcare and real estate law. His legal training and practice experience includes numerous areas of law including: real estate, land use and land development, general corporate, and healthcare law. Mike began his legal career as law clerk to the Honorable Susan Peikes Gantman of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.

Mike graduated from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, Cabrini College, and West Chester University. He proudly serves on the Alumni Executive Committee of the Haverford School in Haverford, Pennsylvania. Mike resides in Wayne, Pennsylvania with his wife and two children.

Ian is a driven legal professional who has demonstrated a strength in client and counsel relationships, negotiations, and contract review, with prior Commercial Real Estate experience in Philadelphia and New York. His work ethic, experience, critical thinking, and personality quickly transformed him into a pivotal member of our team.

Prior to starting with Hunter Durant, Ian worked at Brodsky & Smith, LLC, a law firm in Bala Cynwyd focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions and Environmental Regulation.

Ian obtained his law degree from Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law and his undergraduate degree at Indiana University at Bloomington with a Major in Management and Minor in Finance. Ian grew up in Villanova, Pennsylvania, and attended The Shipley School.

Tripp is an up and coming professional focused on servicing clients in primary and secondary markets throughout Philadelphia MSA. Tripp is responsible for lead generation as well as oversight of Hunter Durant’s proprietary back office information and market intelligence. His creative and persistent approach has allowed him to quickly rise as a professional in the industry.

Prior to his time at Hunter Durant, Tripp held a transactional role at DP Partners, a successful regional development company, along with  entry level roles at global real estate firm Jones Lange LaSalle and Comcast Spotlight.

Tripp attended Pennsylvania State University, earning a BS Degree in Communications while playing Division I College Lacrosse for the nationally ranked Nittany Lions team, where his leadership qualities were recognized as he was named team captain. Tripp grew up in the Chester County area and attended Malvern Preparatory School prior to his time at Penn State.

Phil is a highly motivated sales professional who has demonstrated a remarkable intellectual curiosity and passion for real estate. His work ethic, leadership, and dedication to our clients quickly identified him as an ideal member of our team.

Prior to starting with Hunter Durant, Phil excelled in entry-level roles at a variety of companies, including AmerisourceBergen, Perspective Financial Group, and PMA Insurance.

Phil’s educational background is supported by Business Management and Economic studies at Dickinson College. While a student at Dickinson, Phil played Division III Lacrosse for a nationally ranked Red Devils Team and spent a semester abroad studying in Bologna, Italy. Phil grew up in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and attended Radnor High School where he was a 3-sport varsity captain.

Drew is a Philadelphia-based successful graphic designer and marketing entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in the field, including the launch of his own firm, DM Design Solutions. Through the Hunter Durant platform, Drew assists HDREA’s real estate clients with assembling first class marketing materials, unique perspectives, and vision creation for any and all existing or to be built projects. His presence has allowed HDREA to create what are now considered to be the top marketing materials in the area.
